  • A manifestation of severe ROSACEA resulting in significant enlargement of the NOSE and occurring primarily in men. It is caused by hypertrophy of the SEBACEOUS GLANDS and surrounding CONNECTIVE TISSUE. The nose is reddened and marked with TELANGIECTASIS.

  • Progressive enlargement of the nose due to hypertrophy of the sebaceous glands of the tip of the nose and fibrosis. It usually affects older men and is associated with long-standing acne rosacea. It presents as a pink lobulated mass with dilated vessels in the nose.
